Pablo Rivera Perez

Pablo Rivera Perez is experienced in paleomagnetic field modelling. He will compile published paleomagnetic data of the GERs to be studied from the literature and carry out much of the geomagnetic field inverse modelling. He will contribute to training the two PhD students in these methods. Together with the PI Monika Korte, Pablo will have strong direct interactions with the teams of PIs Emilia Kilpua and Ilya Usoskin to consider the GER structure for magnetospheric and atmospheric modelling, including the novel task of developing likely or extreme future GER scenarios that will involve all four teams.
