Ranadeep Sarkar

Researcher

Ranadeep Sarkar is currently an Academy Fellow at UH. His key task in the project will be to investigate extreme space weather conditions, particularly the interaction between high-speed solar wind streams and CMEs during their interplanetary propagation, as well as CME–CME interactions. Ranadeep has extensive expertise in both analytical and numerical simulations of space weather events, complemented by remote-sensing and in-situ observations. He has worked on developing and validating an advanced flux rope model for EUHFORIA, which will be extensively utilized in this project.
