Jens Pomoell

Jens Pomoell is an expert in numerical data-driven simulations. He is the key developer of the inner heliospheric model, EUHFORIA that started during his postdoctoral period in KU Leuven and the developer of UH coronal models. He will assist in simulation work in GERACLE project. Jens will have most active interaction with team of UOULU. The new magnetospheric model developed by the team of Ilya Usoskin will use as input solar wind conditions/results from the EUHFORIA simulation. The Oulu team and Jens will also collaborate regarding magnetograms (both synthetic and real) that are used in coronal and heliospheric simulations.
