Andreas Wagner

Andreas Wagner is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki. Within the scope of GERACLE he will investigate which photospheric conditions lead to particularly extreme solar eruptions. For this purpose, real and synthetic magnetograms will serve as the basis for the investigation along with systematically modelling of the solar coronal magnetic field based on these magnetogram inputs. His past works extensively dealt with modelling of the solar corona as well as extracting and analysing magnetic flux ropes in the very early stages of solar eruption.
